Welcome to Episode 1,121 of the Arete Coach Podcast, where your host, Severin Sorensen, engages in an engaging conversation with executive coach Kevin Stansfield. He's the author of 'The Great Game, How Lessons From The Game of Golf Can Help You Win the Game of Business.", He's also an investor, and business and executive coach. Kevin earned his MBA from the University of Southampton. Kevin is part of one of the world's largest business coaching organizations, one called Action Coach, and he has been coaching for over 17 years from his hometown of Southampton on the south coast of England. He has written numerous books and received a number of awards for his coaching.

Remarks Kevin, "I always have always looked at businesses as a game. If you can treat your business as a game that you'd be playing, like golf, football baseball, whatever it might be, then I think you come at it from a completely different angle." He describes business leaders and their coachability in golf terms of beginners, improvers, lifestylers, and masters, and we explore the question... why don't more people who know coaches use coaches?

We also spent time exploring a powerful concept for Kevin in the Be, Do, Have paradigm and what its done for him in his life, coaching, and business. We learn about Kevin's passion for helping business owners be better in their lives and businesses, helping them recognize that they can have more than a business that owns them and their time.
