This book co-authored with Simon Sinek and Peter Docker has 400,000 copies in print, and is published in over 24 languages.
In this episode, we explore David's own "why", and his passion for helping companies overcome cultural dissonance. He talks about his formula for trust, and how company leaders should spend more time living and being, and less time materially doing their company culture. David shares his journey into management consulting and coaching, and his experiences working for and co-authoring with Simon Sinek. In our conversation, we wander through David's life experiences and learn more about him, his purpose, passion, and desire to do good to help others. In the interview, when David was asked, if he were to write a title for the name of his autobiography, he replied, "the much taller hobbit" and we explored this figurative musing about his life and journies and people he has met along the way.

“Arete Coach Podcast" Explores the "Art and Science" of Executive Coaching hosted by Severin Sorensen. The “Arete Coach Podcast" is for executive coaches and anyone considering becoming an executive coach. The podcast is especially valuable to executive coaches who are lifetime learners with deep curiosity about the "art and science" of coaching. Severin Sorensen has provided over 7,500 hours of paid executive coaching sessions and he holds the following coaching certifications: ICF/ACSTH Certified Executive Coach (CEC), Certified Organizational Development Coach (CODC), Certified Life Coach (CLC); and the IAC: Coach Masteries Practioner. Severin Sorensen has an M.Phil in Economics at King's College, Cambridge University, and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Utah.
