Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon. Before joining the Prince William Conservation Alliance in 2020, she spent a decade in the Ecuadorian Andes leading water resource management projects and researching high-altitude tropical ecosystems. With training in both the natural and social sciences, Ashley brings a collaborative, interdisciplinary perspective to solving today’s complex environmental challenges.

Audacious NIMBY stands for courage. It stands for people bold enough to demand honesty, accountability, and responsible planning. It represents citizens who expect elected officials to act in the public interest rather than in the interest of developers, donors, and political insiders.
