Welcome to the Beyond the Scope Podcast presented by ND MD. This podcast continues the mission of sharing the incredible stories and experiences of students, physicians, and healthcare professionals...but this time it's all about the things all those years of medical training doesn't prepare you for. Things that are beyond the scope of our practice.

In this season 3 opener, we sit down with Dr. Frances Mei Hardin, a success writer, speaker, podcaster, entrepreneur....and of course ENT surgeon to share how her success origins weren't so smooth. So much of our medical training rides on a single email during match week, but what happens when it doesn't quite go to plan? Is this rejection, or redirection?

Beyond the Scope

Hi everyone, my name is Andy (ND for short) and I am a photographer/videographer turned medical student at the Medical College of Georgia seeking to share stories, teach others, and maybe inspire someone along the way. Giving you the unfiltered view of what it's like to be a med student while trying to have a little fun in the process.

During this show, we will interview medical students, practitioners, and professionals about the things that make up their life that are "Beyond the Scope" of their typical responsibilities. We'll cover topics like marriage in medical school, managing extracurriculars, building your resume, and more!
