The people in the wicked land of Nineveh were warned by the prophet Jonah to repent and turn from their wicked ways. Because of their quick repentance, God forgave them and relented from destroying their city. If a nation repents, turns from its wicked ways, and turns to God, the land and the people of the land will be saved (2 Chronicles 7:14). It's so important for the United States of America to turn from its wicked ways and turn back to God. Then and only then will our nation truly be great again.
