Throughout the course of history, God has warned wicked nations and kingdoms that if they do not turn from their sinful ways, they will surely fall. This was most definitely the case with Babylon, the ancient kingdom. Babylon was warned for years by prophets like Isaiah and Daniel to turn from their wicked ways -- to turn from idol worship and to the one, true God. They ultimately failed to listen to the warnings, and thus came their downfall. The United States of America, among other nations, must repent and seek God for restoration and greatness to truly take place. A nation that turns its back on God will ultimately reap destruction.
