If we look at sporting teams we can pose the question “What makes a successful sporting team?” Firstly, they have a well put together plan, the plan you could expect would talk with great details on what needs to happen to deploy it. Secondly the focus would be on positioning the right talent in the right positions, where does each player fit, where can they play at their strengths.

So in summary “your strategy” is “your business game plan”, it provides you with clarity on where you are heading, how and what you will need to do to achieve your organisational goals.
