Victory Over Darkness: Embracing the New Life Jesus Offers

  • 26:01
  • April 6th 2026

After a season of personal loss and reflection, the truth of the resurrection shines even brighter—reminding us that Christ’s victory over darkness is real, life-changing, and available for everyone.

Three key takeaways from our teaching:

The Resurrection is the Linchpin of Our Faith: As Paul says in 1 Corinthians, if Christ has not been raised, our faith is useless. But because He has, everything changes for human history and for us individually.

Transformation Is Not Passive—It's a Choice: Jesus offers victory over darkness, but we each get to choose whether we step into that light. Spiritual growth requires daily, intentional habits—practices like loving God, doing good, and repeating these actions.

Hope Shines Brightest in the Darkest Moments: Whether you’re facing doubts, loss, or chaos, the resurrection is God’s promise that darkness doesn’t get the last word. His light is for you, today and every day.
