Before the days of modern English anime dubbing, anime dubbing was not as defined as its own medium and was more categorized with dubbing for animated television shows and games. One of those who have been dubbing for anime before it has grown to its own category in the medium, Ian James Corlett, discusses what it was like before anime, as a medium, exploded in popularity and gives stories during the times he has voiced many medium, including one of the original popular anime, Dragon Ball Z.
