On this week's episode, host Kevin Mosley chats with David Johnson, the founder and former CEO of Raleigh-based certification software startup Atlas Certified. Last year, Atlas was acquired by New York-based CLEAR, an identity verification platform. David helped major companies such as HomeAdvisor, Amazon and Care. com to automate professional license verification, monitoring, and status changes. He has a wealth of experience in the startup world, having founded his first business straight out of Georgetown University's Business School.

During this episode, David will offer his actionable advice on how to stay ahead of well-funded competitors, the importance of "smart money", and his best three lessons for entrepreneurs.
