Brynn Rovito is the owner of The Vida Mia, a 94 year old historic classic yacht located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Brynn is a woman on the rise who is dedicated to preserving historic classic yachts and bringing awareness to the dying trade of wooden boat building.
Her mission is to breathe life into these old boats, many of which are at risk of being destroyed or left to languish. She has developed an expertise in yacht restoration in a short time, and is involved in every aspect of her business. Brynn's business provides an unforgettable guest experience, with coffee cruises, sunset cruises and private charters.
And… she’s my next guest on GasStoveCreativePresents: The Cookbook!
Brynn graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned her Juris Doctorate at Brooklyn Law School. Prior to her career in entrepreneurship, she served as Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms.
She is active in the Honolulu business community, forming partnerships with other small business owners and working with local chefs and entertainers. The Vida Mia was featured in the HBO series, The White Lotus, which aired in 2022.
Listen as Brynn and I discuss her journey, her prior career and her dream life! (I mean, who wouldn’t want to run a high-end boat charter in Hawaii?!)

Here on The Cookbook, we’re opening the book on the real recipes behind building a successful business. Entrepreneurship doesn't look the same for everyone, and neither does success.
Whether you're just thinking about starting a small business or you're a seasoned entrepreneur looking for growth strategies, this show is for you. We talk about the massive wins, the missteps, and the real struggles that shaped who they are today.
I hope you enjoy listening to these entrepreneurial journeys as much as I’m enjoying interviewing these amazing guests. Let's open The Cookbook together! And until next time... go out and find what lights YOUR fire!
