CARPHA visit on implementation of population-based cancer registry

Efforts to establish a population-based cancer registry in Saint Lucia are underway and this is being supported by the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and IARC Caribbean Cancer Registry Hub. A delegation recently visited Saint Lucia to provide technical guidance  technicalguidance and conduct site assessments to support the implementation of apopulation-based cancer registry in country. This visit focused on capturing and evaluating the status of cancer registration processes such as screening, diagnosis, treatment, management and death and also to provide the necessary recommendations for the cancer registry in Saint Lucia.
