
Ministry of Health Professionals receive Specialized Training to Help Strengthen the Entry and Visualization of Health Data

Health professionals from the Health Management Information Unit (HMIU), Epidemiology Unit and Environmental Health Unit within the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs received training in data entry and visualization and effective use of the District Health Information Software (DHIS2) platform. This training will play a great part in strengthening Saint Lucia’s health information systems. It is expected that the technical competencies of participants will be improved which will contribute to the enhancement of the Ministry’s ability to generate, analyze, and apply data to guide evidence-based decision-making.
