Every year on November 14, World Diabetes Day serves as a global platform to raise awareness about diabetes. This year, the theme "Diabetes and Well-being" highlights the significance of ensuring that individuals managing diabetes can have healthy and fulfilling lives, with equal opportunities for happiness and well-being.

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs is committed to emphasizing that living with diabetes should not hinder anyone from living life to the fullest. Through proper education, adoption of healthy lifestyle practices, regular monitoring, and adherence to appropriate medication, diabetes can be effectively managed.
