Saint Lucia is preparing to receive its first group of third-country nationals transferred from the United States under a new arrangement. Six individuals, five men and one woman will initially be admitted, with up to 10 persons expected to be received each quarter over the next two years. The Government says those who remain will not be detained but will be expected to follow local laws, with support available to assist with integration.
