Alex Boianghu Being a psychotherapist for over 30 years, Alex had the honor and privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families providing holistic support for all of life’s challenges. He deeply loves what he does, and brings all his education, experience, and above of all, compassion and understanding to help you understand yourself. From Alex's perspective, the goal of therapy is to let go of outdated ways of living that make you feel “stuck” or “in survival mode”, so that one can live in freedom, joy and success. His approach is holistic, in the sense that everything that is happening in your life is viewed as a doorway towards understanding yourself more intimately and ultimately healing what needs to be healed, awakening your own inner resources and capabilities in order to live with exuberance. We are all here to thrive—and that is his mission with you. Throughout his life, He has been continuously educating himself into the best practices for what you need — academically, by continuing education on with cutting-edge research on psychotherapy, as well as experientially, by being devoted to the ongoing journey into ever greater levels of authenticity into his own Being. Alex is trained in both Eastern and Western psychology and philosophy, and I approach therapy in a way that integrates insights from both traditions. In addition, He has specialized in addiction and trauma treatment for the last 12 years and incorporates EMDR method (Eye Movement Desensitization and Re-processsing) as the cutting-edge tool towards healing. He is also trained as a Couples’ Therapist and work with couples through all stages of relationship in helping them understand and heal themselves within the context of relationship.
