Hello and welcome back to the Is That Soh Podcast!

Today on the podcast, I have invited clinical social worker, licensed couples and family therapist, YouTuber, writer and podcaster Dr. Assael Romanelli, to come on the podcast and talk to us about the victim triangle (also known as the Karpman drama triangle) and how to take back control of your life.

Dr. Assael has a PH.D in clinical social work and is a licensed therapist. He has worked with hundreds of individuals, families, and couple all over the world. Together with his wife, he founded and is the director of The Potential State Institute for Enriching Relationships as well as contributes regularly to Psychology Today! With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Assael Romanelli has trained a wide range of individuals and professionals in the art of being more spontaneous, playful and effective in their life and work!

Today, we are going to be talking about the victim triangle (aka the drama triangle), why people fall into these patterns, how we can break out of these cycles and Dr. Assael’s ‘life model’ to help you to achieve a more spontaneous, playful and effective life.
