Como sugerencia y petición de uno de nuestros seguidores, Ruben Cinho, hemos realizado este especial a esta potente banda que eran los MC5 (Motor City Five) desde la ciudad de Detroit. Fundados en 1964 por sus dos líderes, Wayne Kramer y Fred "Sonic" Smith, se hicieron muy rápidamente conocidos por sus directos demoledores y por sus actitudes y posturas políticamente incorrectas, predecesoras del punk norteamericano de finales de los 70. Muy comprometidos política y socialmente, además de por el pelucón de su vocalista, Rob Tyner, ganaron muchísimo prestigio entre el público por que su música era muy potente, plena de buenísimo Hard Rock, Blues y con toques de psicodelia lo que le daba mayor riqueza al sonido de la banda. Sólo tres álbumes oficiales y un sinfín de recopilaciones y bootlegs de directos contemplan a una de las bandas más correosas e incómodas del rock de los 70. Forever MC5!!! PLAYLIST LRR#234.
