Join me as I talk to Daryl Chandler, known to his friends as simply "Chandler;" we talk about his career in the Army and his multiple tours in the Middle East. We talk about going from a college music major to the Army, where he served in various roles, including time as a Army Recruiter and much more!
We'll discuss highlights of his service (the good, bad and ugly!) and what ultimately brought him, his wife Cathi, and his two sons to the lake area, where they now live on 38 acres and have established the Chandler Family Farm! From that farm, they enjoy growing their own food, in a very organic and scientific way! You'll enjoy "meeting" his family and learning more about their adventures!
We also talk about his very smart service dog, (who you may have seen at the Farmers Market) and Healing4Heros, an organization that provides rescue/service dogs to veterans, for healing and bonding. And you don't want to miss our conversation on Forged Brotherhood, a Christian Motorcycle Club, and the amazing work they do glorifying God and building spiritual relationships through motorcycle club traditions.
Chandler is an incredible, caring, multi-faceted individual, who lives life by the 4 C's...be sure to listen to the show to find out more about those!

Lure of the Lake
Lake Oconee, Georgia, located halfway between Augusta and Atlanta, is a man-made paradise with incredible beauty that makes it a great vacation destination for people of all ages. More than that, though, it's a community for those that are looking for a peaceful life filled with nature and beauty.
I, myself, am a member of that community. I moved to Reynolds in 2020 and started to hear the incredible stories of its residents. Join me, now, as we take a plunge into some fascinating stories of the many well-lived lives of our community and learn why they were Lured to the Lake.
