Dr. Nicolas Chronos - An Amazing Doctor With A "Heart" For His Patients!

Dr. Nicolas Chronos is a well known medical doctor here in the Lake Country. But most people don't know the interesting journey that brought him here! Dr. Chronos was born in England, with parents of Scottish & Greek descent. He grew up in England, and attended medical school in London, with a specialty in cardiology.

About 30 years ago, he came to the United States, where he attended Emory University for recertification and stayed there for several years, overseeing much of the cardiology intervention group. He later moved over to St. Joe's, where he headed up a large cardiology research institute and was part of Atlanta Cardiology Group, the largest in Atlanta.

You'll hear what ultimately lured him to the lake, where he has resided for the last 10 years. He founded Lake Country Medical Group, a premier, multi-specialty team with a world-class facility. He and his team focus on each patient individually and patients feel more like family than patients!

We discuss some of the exciting advances in medical treatment, how we need to focus on prevention vs. treatment and how he and his staff, not only worked through the pandemic, but became the calm, rational voice as information was changing and evolving rapidly.
