When it comes to interesting guests on Lure of the Lake, today is no exception! Gary & Jocelyn Trott are interesting, smart, adventurous travelers, have a cool business here at the lake, and I know you will enjoy meeting them today!
Jocelyn, though not from the lake area directly, grew up not too far from it, in Athens, and stayed pretty close to home most of her life. Gary, on the other hand, attended ten different schools and lived in several different states! You’ll hear how they were eventually lured to the lake!
A few years ago, the two met, fell in love, got married and blended their two families into what they describe as a Brady Bunch adventure! They'll tell us about the fun, and the challenges, they’ve experienced!
Despite each having very successful careers, they wanted to open a business of their own. As they explored what was needed at the lake, the challenges of the pandemic, plus working from home, provided the idea and the catalyst they were looking for and FlowSpace was born! This unique, co-working space in Parkside Commons has the look and feel of a major urban workspace, but the community and charm of the lake area!
You’ll certainly enjoy the story of Gary & Jocelyn, and they’ll share a lot of information on themselves, their thoughts on living better and longer, and even some travel ideas!

Lure of the Lake
Lake Oconee, Georgia, located halfway between Augusta and Atlanta, is a man-made paradise with incredible beauty that makes it a great vacation destination for people of all ages. More than that, though, it's a community for those that are looking for a peaceful life filled with nature and beauty.
I, myself, am a member of that community. I moved to Reynolds in 2020 and started to hear the incredible stories of its residents. Join me, now, as we take a plunge into some fascinating stories of the many well-lived lives of our community and learn why they were Lured to the Lake.
