I am once again reminded of one of my mother’s pearls of wisdom. This time, it’s a question that she would often ask me, “Are you happy in your heart, little one”? I learned to stop, feel, and reply, and I always learned so much about myself from my answers to her.
I continue to ask myself this question often and have also asked it to almost every child I have closely come to know and also to many adults, often clients and friends. For me, this question is the golden key that can unlock both a deep understanding of oneself as well as provide the guidance that we need- to move forward in our lives. Our heart is a guide to our emotions. It is a source of information that can teach us much about ourselves. The heart sends out the greatest electromagnetic signal of any organ in the body. Although it was once believed to be the brain, this has since been disproven.
