Rafay is a grinder a man who’s unassuming, funny, rambunctious, and ambitious as they come. I’ve known Rafay since high school, and to see where he is, versus where he started. It doesn’t surprise me. Rafay is the type of guy to be successfully learn open-heart surgery ON THE JOB. He has always been a “let’s do it first, and we’ll figure it out later” kind of guy. Which is what’s so endearing and awesome about Rafay, his ability to inject himself into failure AS SOON as possible.
That is how he became such a successful coder working his way up to become senior software engineer at RingDNA.
How did he learn how to code?
By watching and learning from the free coding courses offered by M.I.T. he’s a self-taught engineer who literally learned on the job.
