- January 19th 2020
The Settlement Planning Tips for Personal Injury Attorneys Podcast aims to help personal injury attorneys become informed and educated about the issues that arise at the settlement phase of a case. This podcast is hosted by Greg Maxwell, JD, CFP® of Amicus Settlement Planners.
Greg Maxwell started his career working for a personal injury law firm and was often tasked to handle issues that arose at the time of settlement. He quickly realized that these issues fall outside the category of personal injury law (into what is now called settlement planning law).
Greg left the personal injury firm and started Amicus Settlement Planners. Amicus focuses exclusively on the legal and financial issues that arise at the time of a personal injury settlement. Amicus is comprised of attorneys and CFP® professionals who focus solely on these issues.
Amicus has helped hundreds of attorneys across the country deal with settlement-related issues, including government benefits planning, special needs trusts, structured settlement annuities, and attorney fee deferrals.
