Adam Schieferecke is a rising Ph.D. student at UC Berkeley interested in the idea of using viruses as beneficial tools to treat human genetic diseases such as cancer. In addition to his involvement in molecular biology research, Adam is passionate about ensuring that current scientific research topics are accessible to everyone through effective communication. A Barry Goldwater Scholar and National Science Foundation Research Fellow, Adam has received national recognition for his ideas.
