Anjali Patel is an entrepreneur and co-creator of Seeing-i2i.com, a virtual pen pal network encouraging intergenerational friendships by uniting youth and older adults via Skype and Facetime. As a mom of three young children, Patel understands how challenging it can be for today’s youth to juggle smart phones and technology with human connection. Because some of the people best equipped to help today’s youth feel connected are older adults, Patel utilizes some of those potentially isolating technologies to create new intergenerational friendships.
