In Revelation 3:14-22 Jesus writes to the church in Laodicea these things...
You are neither hot nor cold...
I would rather you be for me or against me...
You're indifferent...lukewarm...
You're spiritually bankrupt (wretched)
You're ignorant and exposed by your lack of the Word (blind and naked.
The people of that church were saying things like: we're rich, we have plenty of things, and we don't need anything...
God's remedy is that we be like gold tried in the fire and be like white raiment.
He asks us to trade in our doubt for faith. Our filthy garments for righteousness, and our darkness for the light of the Gospel.
These things can only happen through Jesus. We must be zealous and repent to experience a revival in our soul!
