Stacy Blemaster grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio. She received a BA from Brown University in theater and then went on to be licensed in counseling and human services, earning a MA from John Carroll University. She has two autistic sons, and a daughter- all now adults. She resides in Placida, Florida, with her husband Robert and two Golden Retrievers, Libby and Lacey.
