In part 1 of a special 2-part season finale of the Screwed Up Moments podcast, we present to you the story of Chia Xun An, someone who has been battling depression since the age of 10. For a short period in Xun An’s formative years he was growing up just like any regular kid, but things changed during the 1998 Asian Financial Crisis, when his dad’s business got severely affected, and tensions rose within his family. He would soon develop symptoms of depression in the early 2000s, and along with his family, would struggle with the effects and consequences of his condition for most of his upbringing.
