Supporting Sobriety w/ Martin Preston

This week my guest is fellow Old Mancunian, Martin Preston.

Martin is genuinely lovely guy, and early on in his life struggled with addiction. After a number of stints in different rehab or addiction support facilities Martin was revitalised but with a sense that the sector was in significant need of a revamp.

After a number of years, hard graft and with a commercially-minded head on his shoulders, Martin opened the Delamere Clinic; a £7m purpose-built rehab residential clinic based in leafy Cheshire.

We talk about Martin’s path and discuss some mutual aspects of our lives like schooling and sobriety, and I think it’s a really important conversation with regard to a new clear vision, taking addiction care and support to a new level.
