This week I’m talking to the world's first female roadie, Tana Douglas.
We talk how she became a roadie - a calling that was 100% male until very recently and about working with some of the 20th century’s biggest icons of music including Neil Diamond, AC/DC, Status Quo and more!
Tana has also released a book, LOUD, which details 30 years of her career in the music industry from coiling cables after a show covered in puke, to wearing the wrong shoes when meeting the Queen of England, to rescuing Malcolm Young’s precious Gretch guitar from a pack of rabid AC/DC fans - it’s available on Bookdepository.com and any eBook store NOW, and I highly recommend giving it a read.
