DIVINE ORDER - BILL TAKACS

William “Bill” Takacs is a native of Toledo, Ohio, who became a permanent resident of Sarasota,

Florida, in 2013. He is a 1973 graduate of Kent State University and a 1976 graduate of the University

of Toledo College of Law. He was employed by the Toledo law firm of Gallon, Takacs and

Boissoneault, Co., LPA from 1978 to 2017 and served the firm as its President and Managing Partner

from 1991 to 2017.

Presently, Bill is a member of Unity Church of Sarasota where he serves as president of its board of

trustees. Although retired from his legal practice, Bill still provides consulting services for his law firm.

In their retirements, Bill and his Partner John enjoy travel internationally, deliver meals for Meals on

Wheels, and are active in 12 step recovery groups.
