This week, we talk to John Staton IV. He's a former football player for Samford and for the Georgia Bulldogs and was even a member of their vaunted National Championship team. John talks about growing up in football and the mindset that helped him to succeed and how that translates to his golf game today.

We talk about how it feels to win a National Championship at football, the personalities that John has been able to play golf with, and our thoughts on the LIV golf tour vs the PGA Tour.

Make sure you check out and support John's fund, the DGD Fund: https://www.dgdfund.org.

Stick Talk

An Augusta Golf Collective Podcast, Hosted by Zack Tully.

I started AGC in 2018 as an Instagram page in order to help me to get back in touch with the sport of golf, and since then, I wound up successfully branding AGC and building out not only a successful Instagram page, but also an apparel line, a casual competitive league (@collectiveclub_aug), and an ambassador program for college athletes.

This podcast is just another way for me to share my love of golf with other passionate players, and in this show, you will hear a lot of conversations between myself and amateur golfers, college golfers, athletes that also play golf, and just generally people who are "Sticks" - that means they're pretty damn good at golf.

Thanks for the support - let's get to work! Peace!
