This week, we have Mr. Elliott Wilson, the face of Mattress Firm, a Tulsa owned & operated franchise. Elliott & his partners have 10 stores in the Green Country area of Oklahoma and do very well. If you're from Oklahoma, you've probably seen our guest on TV commercials marketing the latest sale on beds.
Elliott sits down on the Strong LYFE podcast & YouTube show and shares his story & covers everything from growing up in Houston to how he got into sales, and eventually became a partner of the franchise.
As he shares, his passion shines through. But you will notice the passion isn't really about mattresses themselves but about the people he and his team get to serve by helping them sleep better. He has been able to take something as dull as a mattress and figure out how to live a life of purpose and passion. He does this by creating jobs in the community, provide a living for families, help people during times of transitions such as marriage, losing a loved one or helping someone with a disease like arthritis live a higher quality life after finding the right mattress.
We cover, a lot and but this is a great show. We know you will enjoy Elliott's story.
This episode isn't all about mattresses however Elliott did provide us with some really great information as it pertains to buying a mattress and what you need to know. That segment starts around 45 minutes in and ends around 68 minutes in. You will probably need that info sooner than later.
He has a tremendous story and shares all kinds of nuggets of insight throughout the entire episode.
