Hello and welcome back to the Tech for Good Live podcast. It’s a podcast all about using technology to have a good social impact.

This week we are talking about privacy and how the tech world is shaping the age-old fight for reproductive rights in one of the world’s richest and most powerful nations. And it’s not just about one country, but how it’s a problem for all of us - everywhere.

We also talk about what period-tracking apps are tracking, and if and who and what they’re selling about us.

But it’s not all grim. We’ve also found the strangest brand collaboration. It’s really bizarre.

Hera Hussain is on hosting duties and she is joined by fellow TFGL team members Greg Ashton and Paul Jakubowski.

Our special guest this week is Kathryn Kosmides, joining us from New York. She’s the founder of Garbo, a new kind of online background check.
