The sunshine has gone away and normal rainy service has resumed in Manchester. But whilst the weather might be grim, our spirits refused to be dampened. Why? Because we’re here to talk to you about technology being used for social good.

In this episode we’re talking about how an algorithm has screwed over loads of young people awaiting their exam results, especially hitting poorer student and how Liberty have won a landmark facial recognition case.

Joining host Bex we have Greg Ashton, Tom Passmore and our special guest this week is Mike Stephens, co-founder of tech for good agency Ayup.
