Our guest today is Inês Lynce, the first female President of an INESC institute (INESC ID).

We have delved into the challenges faced by minority groups in higher education, research and innovation, as well as the potential that they hold and must be cherished. Inês considers this to be a specific responsibility of both university lecturers, higher education institutions and research organisations. Inês also offered some reflection upon the resistance to change in both culture and organisational structure in the academic world and how INESC ID is facing this resistance and changing to better respond to societal challenges. Of course, these were not all the topics dealt with in this interesting conversation... looking forward to have your company in listening to pearls of wisdom Inês shared.
