Paulo Freitas is the President of INESC MN – Microsystems and Nanotechnologies and Deputy Director General of INL – the Iberian International Nanotechnology Laboratory. After an international personal experience, Paulo was responsible for pioneering the development of a materials clean room in Portugal. This is a story of the creation of team and research infrastructure that has been, since its inception, in the state-of-the-art of materials research.
From the struggles of creating, developing and maintaining a world-renowned research and innovation team and research and innovation infrastructure, the central role of European projects in this process, to Iberian and transatlantic research collaboration. Check it out!
