Heidi Hadley originally trained in mainstream medicine as a Medical Technical Officer in Neurophysiology at the University Hospital (formerly The Queen Elizabeth) Birmingham, UK. It was whilst working there that a number of her patients suffering with side effects from their anti-epileptic drugs informed her that they received regular complementary/natural therapy treatments to alleviate the side effects of their pharmaceutical drugs.

After thorough research Heidi decided to study and train in Natural Therapies. Heidi has a holistic approach to her treatments. Rather than deal with the symptoms of a problem, she aims to deal with the root cause. Treating the whole person is her objective.

Heidi started her career in natural therapies in 2001 and has acquired many different techniques over the years to bring greater choice to her clients. She ran clinics in England treating people with serious disabilities and many of these clients suffered with Multiple Sclerosis. In 2010, Heidi and her husband emigrated to Adelaide, South Australia.

As a qualified teacher in adult education, Heidi has created many courses and transferred them into the online arena. Qualifying as a baby and infant Massage educator in 2008 in the UK, Heidi has taught many parents and carers over the years how to practice effective massage techniques on their beautiful babies. She has taken the course content she teaches in Adelaide, South Australia and designed it for everyone to access, wherever you live in the world by creating the online program, Baby Massage Adelaide & Beyond. The baby and infant massage techniques are designed for babies over the age of 6 weeks and up to the age of 5 years, although many of the techniques can be adapted to older family members.

Heidi is the founder of Total Somatics® www.TotalSomatics.com, an online program designed to reduce pain, improve posture, increase mobility, develop mindfulness and allow you to resume or continue with the activities you love to do. She is a Certified Clinical Somatic Educator and Somatic Movement Teacher in the work of Thomas Hanna. Heidi is also a qualified Pilates instructor. This gives her clients greater awareness of their bodies, movement patterns and educating them with a skill set so they can perform specific exercises for 10-20 minutes each day in the comfort and privacy of their own home.

Heidi has her own podcast, Somatic Movement & Mindset. Within these episodes, Heidi delves into the fields of neuroscience, pain, mindset, mindfulness, habits and how to use your amazing brain and body to create lasting healthy changes. Somatic Movement & Mindset is available on all major podcast platforms and you can also listen to it at www.TotalSomatics.com/podcast.

Heidi is passionate about her work. She has written and continues to produce informative and easy to follow guide books on various therapies. She is known for constantly updating her skills by attending post graduate courses within her home country Australia and internationally.

The Art Of Listening To Your Body

My name is Dr. Jin Ong I’m a cathartic release therapist, professionally trained as an osteopath, psychosomatic therapist, western acupuncturist and herbalist.

I’m fascinated by the mind-body connection and how your physical body is a manifestation of your emotional state.

My aim is to create awareness to the underlying emotions behind pain, injury and disease in the body as well as behvioural dysfunctions and mental imbalances. I do this using a unique blend of eastern and western philosophies and a good dose of intuition.

I love reading the body and what it's really trying to tell us through it's physical presentation, injury, pain or illness. I call it the art of listening to your body. It's all about understanding yourself and others on a deeper level.

I guide people to recognise their purpose in the world by bringing light to the issues that hold them back. I do this through an intuitive understanding of how the body speaks to us and help clients develop their emotional awareness and take actionable steps to achieve their goals.

If you want to learn to tap into your innate intuitive sense in an easy to understand way come and join me.

Pain stories are fascinating and there is so much we can learn from them. Join me as I'm joined by inspirational people who share how their life changed after their painful experience- what they had to surrender to and how their life looks now.
