**Please note that since publishing this podcast Kate passed away in June 2020. This podcast has remained as it has a strong message to share with others and is still touching and saving lives, prompting women to check their breasts**

In Episode 57 one year later Kate's mum Robyn Edleston shares the story of what happened to Kate.

Today I'm joined by Nutritionist Kate Callaghan who is on her stage 4 breast cancer healing journey.

What does stage 4 mean? Cancer has spread. Normally this isn't great news.

Just last week (after the recording of this podcast) Kate shared that the news is good. Her oncologist told her she was in the healing/recovery phase!!

Kate openly shares her journey from finding the lump to getting the diagnosis all within a short period of time in 2019.

She has sought both conventional and alternative treatments on all levels to help regain her health and vitality.

Kate is known as @theholiticnutritionist online, is an author and international speaker. She loves to help women heal their hormones and works with women when their periods are missing in action.

Right now she is on a full time health journey.

She shares the knowledge she has on her hormone driven breast cancer and the possible triggers given that she does in fact live a very healthy lifestyle.

We talk about the deeper emotional backstory and the current emotions that she has come to acknowledge and work with throughout this journey.

We talk about her past history, delve into relationships, anger, resentment and expressing what is.

The Art Of Listening To Your Body

My name is Dr. Jin Ong I’m a cathartic release therapist, professionally trained as an osteopath, psychosomatic therapist, western acupuncturist and herbalist.

I’m fascinated by the mind-body connection and how your physical body is a manifestation of your emotional state.

My aim is to create awareness to the underlying emotions behind pain, injury and disease in the body as well as behvioural dysfunctions and mental imbalances. I do this using a unique blend of eastern and western philosophies and a good dose of intuition.

I love reading the body and what it's really trying to tell us through it's physical presentation, injury, pain or illness. I call it the art of listening to your body. It's all about understanding yourself and others on a deeper level.

I guide people to recognise their purpose in the world by bringing light to the issues that hold them back. I do this through an intuitive understanding of how the body speaks to us and help clients develop their emotional awareness and take actionable steps to achieve their goals.

If you want to learn to tap into your innate intuitive sense in an easy to understand way come and join me.

Pain stories are fascinating and there is so much we can learn from them. Join me as I'm joined by inspirational people who share how their life changed after their painful experience- what they had to surrender to and how their life looks now.
