205: How to Stop Worrying and Start Manifesting What You Want

Is it possible to use worry to help you manifest? That’s the question I explore in this episode.
Worry isn’t productive. It’s like a car idling, burning fuel while going nowhere. However, worry is also information: it’s your unconscious mind trying to alert you to something you’ve been putting off or avoiding.
Here’s a simple exercise: grab a piece of paper and write down everything that’s bothering you. Keep asking yourself, “what else?” until you uncover something you’ve been avoiding making a decision about. When you find it, write the decision at the top of a blank page, close your eyes, and ask yourself what feels right. Sometimes the answer is as simple as “not yet” or “give it three more days.” Even that can lighten the load.
Setting a goal that feels too big can backfire. If your unconscious mind can’t see a path to it, worry replaces momentum. Breaking a big goal into smaller, achievable steps like rungs on a ladder gives your mind something tangible to work with.
Key Takeaways:
- Worry is unconscious energy running in the background—it’s rarely random.
- Writing down what’s bothering you and repeatedly asking “what else?” helps surface what you’re actually avoiding.
- A pending decision left unaddressed often shows up as worry or even physical tension.
- Setting a goal that’s too big can create worry instead of progress. Break it into smaller steps first.
- Clearing even one small pending task creates real momentum for what comes next.
