I've always said that women don't need to be empowered they need to be equipped.
Permission for us to soar has already been granted but I'm well aware of the beating our confidence and spirit can take day after day in spaces that don't see us fully or value what we bring to the table.
It was the reason I wanted to do this series, the best is yet to come, to remind us through it all we are still here and our work is not in vain there is so much more in store for us!
These stories are from women who have reinvented themselves, bounced back, wasted nothing and show up every day to pour into women and do work no one else wants to do.
While this is the season finale I hope that you will come back to listen to this stories for encouragement and insight on how to press forward.

About the Show:
Welcome to Thrive off the Ladder, the podcast that gives women the encouragement and guidance to take their talents outside the corporate office. Through candid conversations and wisdom sharing we deep dive into the evolution of work and how to step off the ladder that wasn’t build for us in the first place!
About the Host:
I'm Twanna Toliver, an encourager by trade my purpose is to support the hardest working beings on the planet in their quest for career fulfillment. I want us all to thrive not just survive in our professional lives.
The work I currently do for a living and lights me up is a Business Strategist. In 2016 I founded She Creates Collective a professional development hub where women entrepreneurs learn how to grow their business through strategy and growth marketing.
My mission is to simplify business while giving those with less resources the tools to generate consistent revenue. I'm a sought after mentor and business advisor for leading small business development programs such as Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, (NFTE), Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network, (DWEN) and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business, (10KSB).
