E59: Daniel Blanc-Gonnet - Engineering 'Type 2' fun

We are back visiting our trials friends in the USA. This week we chat with NATC Pro rider Daniel Blanc-Gonnet. Daniel finished 4th in the 2019 in the USA NATC Pro class after being in a 3 way tie leading into the final round.

Daniel has represented the USA in the TdN multiple times, he has also done a SSDT in 2017.

Speaking with Daniel you get a real sense for the degree of professionalism at which he approaches his sport, but also how he tries to keep it fun...type 2 fun! It will make more sense as you listen.

More than just a rider, he wea rs with pride the badge of being the youngest organiser of a US National competition and he is involved in the committees that run trials in the USA across the NATC & AMA.

We did something a little different this episode and teamed up with Steph Vetterly the new editor of On The Pegs. On The Pegs is a US based digital online magazine dedicated to trials and enduro. Steph contributed a few of the questions for this episode which we very much appreciated and so I would like to thank her for that.

We hope you enjoy this chat with Daniel Blanc-Gonnet.
