Mark and Beccie discuss verbal and non-verbal children and highlight that they process and communicate in different ways, as well as providing meaningful communication attempts to different children.
Practitioners can learn more about providing structure and creating routines to foster effective communication, as well as the roles of Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
