Episode 9 | Supporting Everyday Changes with Richard Knight & Julie Pearson
- S5E9
- 22:37
- June 13th 2024
Alistair Bryce-Clegg is joined by Julie Pearson and Richard Knight from the Early Years Alliance. In this episode, they discuss the topic of supporting children through everyday changes.
The conversation covers examples of smaller, horizontal transitions that happen throughout a child’s day. Whether it’s transitioning in and out of play, or something as simple as being picked up and carried somewhere different – effective smaller transitions work as a blueprint for bigger transitions later on in life.
Tips are given on ways to manage these changes, and the importance of every adult being on the same page about doing this.
