Most of us know about the damage caused to our health by air pollution…but we tend to be less aware of the invisible toxins hiding right under our own roof.

Before lockdown hit, I had the privilege of sitting down with Dr Tom O’Bryan when he was over at the Birmingham Functional Forum as guest speaker. (Thank you to the wonderful Izabella Natrins for setting this up for me).

Dr Tom is an internationally admired speaker and author, focusing on food sensitivities, environmental toxins and the development of autoimmune diseases. He’s considered a ‘Sherlock Holmes’ for chronic disease: he teaches that recognizing and addressing the underlying causes that activate an immune response is the map that shows us the way to better health. His latest book is called You Can Fix Your Brain: Just 1 Hour a Week to the Best Memory, Productivity, and Sleep You've Ever Had.

In this conversation, we talk through the effects of the invisible toxins that are all around us – and, most importantly, how you can take steps to protect yourself and your family.
