Have you ever felt held back by excuses, believing that if only your circumstances were different, you could finally achieve your goals? In this episode, Londina Cruz and Donna Kunde dive deep into the patterns of procrastination and limiting beliefs, showing you how to shift from making alibis to building persistence that moves you forward no matter what.
Life throws countless "ifs" and "buts" our way—sometimes they sound valid, sometimes just familiar. But the truth is, as Donna Kunde and Londina Cruz discuss, building the habit of persistence means learning to question these stories and excuses that keep us from taking action. In a world full of distractions, understanding how to break free from this thinking is essential for anyone looking to build lasting success habits.
What You Need to Know
This episode features a lively breakdown of the "55 Famous Alibis" from Napoleon Hill’s classic, Think and Grow Rich. Donna Kunde and Londina Cruz examine how these excuses—from blaming family circumstances to waiting for a lucky break—can quietly undermine your drive and purpose. The hosts reveal that persistence isn’t about waiting for perfect conditions, but consistently questioning your beliefs and choosing to act regardless of obstacles.
What You Need to Do
Start by listening for the excuses you use most often—whether it’s “if I only had more time,” “if only people understood me,” or “if I had the courage.” When those excuses arise, pause and ask yourself: Is that really true? Challenge your mind to find solutions rather than rationalize limitations. Take responsibility for moving forward, however small the step. And remember, persistence grows not from having ideal circumstances, but from continuously choosing action over hesitation.
Your Next Step
Go to the show notes and jot down your top three recurring excuses. Then, commit to taking one specific action that counters each excuse this week—no matter how small. Tune in for the season finale next week, where Donna Kunde and Londina Cruz will recap the series and offer more practical strategies.
