Andy Horne: This is my 12th year teaching high school health and physical education. In 2015, I had the honor and privilege to be recognized as SHAPE America’s National Health Education Teacher of the Year. Graduating from Indiana University, I taught in Bloomington, IN for year before coming to New Trier High School in 2003. My goal is to help students develop feelings of self-confidence and self-worth, and to empower them to believe they can accomplish their goals. I try to passionately lead with enthusiasm, inspire my students to be both health literate and persistent lifelong learners, and provide them the tools to make healthy decisions. You can follow me on twitter as @MrHorne101 where I mostly tweet about health, physical education and coaching related topics. Also you can check out my “Scholarly Raps” on YouTube helping bring health topics to life! Here's a link to the blog I run with Andy Milne - https://tools2engage.wordpress.com/
