Dr. Evans found herself having to trust God in ways that surpassed her comfort levels in order to grow to new areas in her purpose and passion in life. Tarra Evans, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, triple specializing in Gynecologic Oncology, Gynecology, and Palliative Medicine. She has expertise in the surgical and medical treatment of precancers and cancers of the the female reproductive tract with a special interest in complex pelvic surgery as well as surgical and medical management of cancer-related symptoms. She works within her community to improve physician-patient communication. Dr. Evans also serves as a faculty mentor at her local medical school. She is a wife and new mother and is an active member at her local church.
