MS in Colour
Multiple Sclerosis in Colour (AKA MS In Colour) is a podcast like no other. This podcast brings individuals of black heritage living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) into the conversation, where usually they would not be involved as much.
Multiple Sclerosis was first thought to only affect white Europeans many moons ago. Research has shown that MS is more prevalent in black people especially black women than once thought. However, our stories have been missing from many conversations.
The black community doesn't often encourage conversations about MS and the black MS community has low MS research and clinical trials participation rates due to a handful of barriers so they are often left out of the conversation.
That stops NOW! From the lived experiences of black MSers themselves to, family and medical professionals, new treatments, and research, we are bringing the conversation to the black MS community!
